Lake View- The Southeast Valley 8th grade boys lost 35-14 to East Sac. The Jags trailed 11-6 after the first quarter. Going into the halftime break the Jags trailed 18-9. We talked about spreading out their 2-3 zone and finding the bubble to get shots off as well as crashing the glass on both ends of the floor. The third quarter shooting was ice cold as the Jags failed to get the ball in the hoop and trailed 24-9 heading into the final quarter. At the end of the game the Raider defeated the Jags 35-14, but even with the cold night shooting the players never quit until the final buzzer. Scoring for the Jaguars: Tucker Ollinger (3), Josiah Hefley (4), August Akins (5), and Parker Bintz (2). The Jags are back in action on December 16th vs Woodward-Granger in Burnside.
