Burnside- The Southeast Valley 8th grade boys dropped their first home game of the season 54-18 to Ogden. The Jags were down 14-4 after the first quarter. Heading into the halftime break the Jaguars were trailing 31-7 to the Bulldogs. We wanted to keep playing hard and run the offense better and keep track of a guy in the defensive transition situations. We talked about controlling our effort and continuing to play hard at all times. The Jags trailed 43-11 after 3 quarters of action. At the conclusion of the game the Jags were on the short end of a 54-18 defeat at the hands of the visiting Bulldogs. Scoring for the Jaguars: Manson Newell (6), Chris Andrews (2), Colden Mapel (2), Josiah Hefley (6), and Asher Loeffler (2). Also contributing for the Jaguars:Max Judson, Colton Bachel, Jake Wicklein, Carter Lloyd, Brock Norine, and Brodie LaVIne. The Jags are back in action against Manson Northwest Webster on December 9th in Burnside.
