The SV 7th grade boys basketball team defeated East Sac County on the road Thursday December 12th 49-39 to move to 7-0 on the season. The Jaguars jumped out to a 17-2 1st quarter lead. From there, the Jaguars and ESC went basket for basket throughout the remainder of the contest. The Raiders scored multiple late baskets in the contest to cut the lead down to 10 for the Jaguars. The team was led by Tristan Hanson (14), Wyatt Muench (12), Griffin Vote (9), Bennett Nolte (9), and Reece Carlson (5). Turner Ahlers, Grant Ott, Bentley Jondle, Brock Peterson, Jace Skoglund, Jaxson Johnson, and Bryson Christian all saw action as well during the contest. The Jaguars will host Woodward Granger on Monday December 16th and travel to South Central Calhoun on Tuesday December 17th beginning at 4:15.
