The 8th Grade ball team for SV earned a 6-2 victory on the diamond on Wednesday, June 5th, defeating South Central Calhoun.  

Landon Vote started on the mound, allowing zero earned runs and allowed only one base hit in two innings of work. Colton Haug came in to finish the third inning, giving up one earned run and no hits allowed. Scoring for the Jaguars were Conner Rentz, Vote, Dawson Tuel (2), and Keelan Wellman (2). Tuel, Jake Patterson, and Colby Peterson all recorded an RBI. Vote, Rentz, Wellman, Patterson, Haug, and Ben Wanat all recorded a base hit in the contest, with Vote reaching 2nd base with a double.
