The SV 7th grade boys basketball team defeated Woodward Granger by a score of 41-26 here at Burnside on Monday, December 16th. Sharp shooting from the perimeter led to a 12-point first half lead at 25-13; the Jaguars knocked down four threes in the first half with a pair coming from Bennett Nolte, Tristan Hanson one, and Griffin Vote one. The second half was a defensive battle with scoring going back and forth between two strong basketball teams. On the defensive end, the Jaguars were locked in and had one of their best collective contests of the season. The Jaguars were able to increase their lead in the 4th quarter. Bennett Nolte led the way with (13) while Tristan Hanson (8), Reece Carlson (4), Griffin Vote (9), and Wyatt Muench (7) chipped in with each scoring at pivotal moments during the game. Other contributors to the contest were Nick Vogel, Grant Ott, Brock Peterson, Nolan Albright, Bentley Jondle, Corbin Eslick, Turner Ahlers, and Joseph Ennenga.
