The SV 7th grade boys basketball team traveled to Eagle Grove on Friday, November 22nd and claimed a 54-21 victory. The Jaguars jumped out to an early 1st quarter lead at 19-2. Excellent ball movement, defensive rotations, and communication helped extend the lead to 33-11 going into the half. The Jaguars came out strong again in the 3rd quarter and continued to build on the halftime lead and ended the 3rd quarter 47-19. Several Jaguars chipped into the scoring efforts with ten players getting into the scorebook; Bennett Nolte 4, Griffin Vote 4, Tristan Hanson 9, Reece Carlson 6, Wyatt Muench 12, Grant Ott 8, Nick Vogel 2, Jaxson Johnson 2, and Bentley Jondle 3. Grant Ott came in off the bench, rebounded very well, and picked up several second-chance buckets for the Jaguars. Guards Griffin Vote, Tristan Hanson, Bennet Nolte, and Reece Carlson handled the ball extremely well, limited turnovers, and found each other on several assists.
