The rest of the game was close all the way up to the last inning but the Jaguars fell short. Along with his homerun Hane finished going 2-4 while a slew of Jaguars added a hit a piece. Tyler Jondle, Gauge Jones and Cale VanSickle all finished with singles. Freshmen Karson Roper and Mason Bahr would both finish with a double a piece. Mason’s double being a big one that allowed three runners to score. Karson would pitch three and a third innings while striking out four batters and allowing three earned runs. JV ACTION 3-7 L (9-4-1)

A slow start was enough for the Indians to take the JV contest. Indians would get off to a 7-0

lead before the Jags would score three runs in the fifth inning. A trio of pitchers was on the

mound for the Jags. Evan Bintz would start, followed by Lincoln Akins and Nick Field. All threw decent but some errors and walks allowed some runs. Plus a lot of the players were also their varsity squad so competition was good. The two hits of the evening was from Nick Field, a double which scored Karson Roper who reached on an error. Nick and Kolton Ollinger would score after Evan Bintz would hit a double scoring both runners and ending the inning with the three run mercy rule.
