6-21 @ South Central 7-2 W ( 6-10) (6-4 conf.)

Gauge Jones got the start on the mound for the Jags and had himself a day going 6 ⅓ innings, scattering seven hits with six strikeouts and letting his defense help him to the huge conference win. The win puts the Jags above .500 in conference with a finish of 6-4. Karson Roper came in to finish the game throwing five pitches to get the final outs of the game. The difference in the game for the Jags was only one walk and hit batter which was a huge advantage. The Jags didn't have a ton of hits but they hit the ball hard and forced the Titans to field the ball which was a benefit to the Jaguars as the Titans committed six errors. Casey Hanson had a hit and would eventually score. Birthday boy Tyler Jondle had a hit as well. Karson Roper would round out the hits on the night with a single and eventually scoring. Huge win against a conference foe is always a good way to end the week.

JV ACTION: 8-6 W (9-3-1)

The JV squad took a bit to get going but with back to back innings with three runs they

finished right. Kolton Ollinger took the mound for the Jags throwing three innings. Kolton gave up one hit but three errors allowed one run to cross. Kolton did everything the coaches wanted and looked the part on the mound. Ayden Bintz would come in and finish the game for the Jaguars. The Jags bat started slow but caught on late. Singles by Jaxon Meyer, Caden Kaltschnee, and Ethan Tucker gave the Jaguars three runs in the 5th inning to secure the win. Ethan Tucker had a day getting two hits while pitcher catcher combo Nick Field and Kolton Ollinger would get hits to help the team. Colin Johnson had a hit and Jaxon Meyer would finish 2-3 on the day. Nice performance from the JV squad as they improve to nine wins on the season.
