Jag Baseball 5/28 St Edmonds 5-12 L (0-2)

The Jag baseball team suffered a loss at the hands of the Gaels Tuesday night in Dayton.

Hane Sorenson started on the mound throwing admirably but a few defensive miscues allowed Gaels back in the game after the Jags started with a four run first inning. Casey Hanson started off with a double followed by a few walks and saw the Jags jump to the four run lead. Unfortunately it was not the Jags' night as the Gaels were too much as their ace caught his stride and never looked back. Offensively, Kaden Holder had himself a day going 2-2 with two singles. The other hit on the night came from Casey Hanson on the first at bat of the game.

Jv action: 9-4 W (1-0-1)

The JV squad got into the win column against the Gaels jv team. The JV team hit the ball all

over the field with Colin Johnson getting two hits. Karson Roper hit the ball hard twice, scoring once. Caden Kaltschnee stayed hot with two hits. Jaxon Meyer added a hit as well. Nick Field hit the ball hard and the sac fly scored Kollton Ollinger who was courtesy running. Evan Bintz rounded out the hitting for the jags with one hit. A slew of pitchers took the mound for the jags. Casey Hanson, Logan Jaeschke, Caden Kaltschnee, Mason Bahr and Lincoln Akins all threw well in their innings of work.
