Jaguar Baseball 5/30 Humboldt 8-16 L (0-4)

The always good Humboldt Wildcats came into Dayton for a non conference stint against the Jaguars. The wildcats took advantage early getting three runs in the first and scoring every inning until the final two innings. The Jags held on looking like an early night with a 10 run rule by the Wildcats but the Jags showed some fight coming back and scoring some runs in the fourth, fifth, and 6 th innings. Mason Bahr lead the bats with a double and two singles, going 3 for 3 with a hit by pitch in his final at bat. Hits were spread of out for the Jags with Casey Hanson, Cale VanSickle, Kaden Holder and Logan Jaeschke all included hits. Tyler Jondle added a double while Gauge Jones had a nice night going 2 for 4

with a single and a double of this own. On the mound for the Jags was a slew of pitchers. Ryan Stewart started with a few walks allowed Wildcat runners to score. Caden Kaltschnee would relieve Stewart in the third inning followed by Lenix Allbee relieving and throwing three solid innings of work. The bright spot was Lenix Allbee who came in and threw strikes and shut down the Wildcat bats. All together the Jags gave up 14 walks or hit by pitches which came back to bite the Jaguars in the end.
