Jag Baseball 6-12 East Sac 9-7 W (4-7) (4-3 conf.)
The Raiders of East Sac traveled to Dayton for a mid week conference match up. The
Jags would take the contest with a 7-2 advantage which slipped away with East Sac scoring
four runs in the 5 th inning but the Jags would answer back and play well enough on defense to hold off the Raiders. Lenix Allbee took the mound for the Jags and threw four innings of baseball before giving the ball to Jaxon Meyers who finished the game looking strong in relief. Leading the offensive charge was Tyler Jondle going 3 for 3 and scoring two huge runs with two outs at the time. Casey Hanson and Cale Vansickle would also score two runners. Casey put the ball in play driving in his two runners while Cale Vansickle would get his two runners with a single and a walk. Gauge Jones and Logan Jaeschke would have themselves a day going 2 for all four hits being singles. Pitcher Lenix Allbee would also add a hit to finish up the hits for the Jags. The Jags did just enough to get their fourth win of the season and a conference game is always a great win.
JV Action 1-5 (Called Game)
The JV unfortunately had a lightning shortened JV contest against the Raiders. The Jags
would only get in one and a half innings before the contest was called due to lightning in the
area. Ryan Stewart threw before giving the ball to Caden Kaltschnee but with a discussion with
the umpire and lightning in the area was enough to call the contest. Lincoln Akins would walk
and score the lone run for the Jaguars.
