Monday Jun 10: vs. Pocahontas Area (Away)

The JV team played hard against Pocahontas Area but lost 6-5 in the 5th inning. While on offense Kayla Field, Miea Hefley, Trinity Anderson, and Addy Lundquist all hit singles, while Danielle Bethal hit 2 doubles during the game. While on defense, Kayla Field had multiple outs: 1 infield fly, 2 strike outs, and a throw to 1st base from the mound; Miea Helfy (left field) had an unassisted out with a pop fly; and Danielle Bethal (1st base) had an unassisted out with an infield fly.

Wednesday Jun 12: vs. East Sac County (Home)

The JV team played against East Sac County. While on offense, Trinity Anderson, Addy Lundquist, and Sage Lane all hit singles, while Devon Olson had a solid double during the game. While on defense, Devon Olson had 3 strikeouts while on the mound; Danielle Bethal (1st base), Trinity Anderson (center field), Meia Hefley (left field), and Kayla Field (shortstop) all had unassisted outs with pop flies; Sage Lane also had an unassisted out with a tag at 3rd base. The JV team played hard, but unfortunately fell to East Sac 11-2.

Thursday Jun 13: vs. West Central Valley (Home - Make Up)

The JV team played against West Central Valley as a makeup game from May 24th. While on offense: Devon Olson made it on base all 4 at bats and scored each time; Kayla Field made it on base 3 out of the 4 at bats and scored each time; Meia Hefley made it on base with 4 singles and scored 3 out of the 4 times; Sage Lane had 4 singles and scored 2 out of the 4 times; Ellie Carstens made it on base with a walk and scored throughout her 1 out of 4 at bats; Addy Lundquist had 3 at bats and all were singles - she also scored all 3 times. While on defense: Kayla Field had 1 strikeout, 1 unassisted out with an infield fly, and threw 2 outs from the mound to 1st and 2nd base to get runners out; Danielle Bethal had an unassisted out at 1st base; Addy Lundquist had an unassisted out with an infield fly as well as another out with a throw from 2nd base to 1st base; Meia Hefley also had an unassisted out with a pop fly out in left field; and Devon Olson had an out with a throw from shortstop to 1st base. The JV team played hard and came out on top against West Central Valley with a 16-7 win!

Friday Jun 14: vs. Storm Lake St. Mary's (Away)

The JV team played against Storm Lake St. Mary's and lost 6-5. While on offense: Laila Christophersen had a single and scored; Sage Lane, Danielle Bethal, Riley Carlson, and Meia Hefley all made it on base through walks or getting hit by the ball - they each scored a point. While on defense: Devon Olson had 1 strikeout and an out with a throw from shortstop to 1st base; Addy Lundquist also had an out with a throw from 2nd base to 1st base; and Meia Hefley (left field) and Sage Lane (3rd base) both had an unassisted out with pop flies. The JV team fought hard during these 3 innings, but lost by 1 run.

Monday Jun 17: vs. Newell Fonda (Home)

The JV team played against Newell Fonda. While on offense: Devon Olson and Meia Hefley both made it on base with solid singles and scored; Kayla Field had a single; Laila Christophersen and Trinity Anderson both made it on base with a walk; and Danielle Bethal had another solid double. While on defense: Devon Olson had 2 unassisted outs with infield flies, Meia Hefley had 1 unassisted out with a pop fly; Sage Lane had an unassisted out with an infield fly; and Kayla Field had an unassisted out with an infield fly and another out with a throw from the mound to 1st base. While the Jags fought hard, they had a hard lose to the Mustangs (18-2)

Wednesday Jun 19: vs GTRA (Away)

The JV team played against GTRA at Ruthven. While on offense: Devon Olson had 2 singles; Kayla Field and Ellie Carstens both made it on base with a walk and being hit by the pitch; Laila Christophersen made it on base with a single and being hit by the pitch; Danielle Bethal also made it on base by being hit by the pitch; Trinity Anderson made it on base with a walk and scored; and Addy Lundquist made it on base with a walk. While on defense: Sage Lane had 2 unassisted outs with infield flies. The JV team played hard but ended up losing to GTRA 20-1.

Thursday Jun 20: vs Iowa Falls-Alden (Away)

The JV team traveled to Iowa Falls. While on offense: Devon Olson made it on base 2 times with a walk and hit - she scored 1 time; Brooke Peterson made it on base with a double and a single - she also scored 1 time; Laila Christophersen, Danielle Bethal, Addy Lundquist, and Meia Hefley all made it on base with a single; Sage Lane hit a solid double and ended up scoring; and Trinity Anderson also made it on base with a walk. While on defense: Brooke Peterson had 2 outs with throws to 1st base from shortstop; Addy Lundquist had an unassisted out with an infield fly at 2nd base; and Devon Olson also had an unassisted out with an infield fly on the mound as well as 2 outs with throws to get runners out at home. The JV team fought hard, but lost 15-3 to Iowa Falls-Alden.

Friday Jun 21: vs South Central Calhoun (Away)

The JV team traveled to Lytton to play against South Central Calhoun for 3 innings. While on offense: Brooke Peterson had 3 at bats with 2 singles and walk - she scored 1 time; Devon Olson had 3 at bats with a walk, hit by pitch, and a single - she scored 3 times; Laila Christophersen had 3 at bats and made it on base 2 times with singles - she scored both times; Sage Lane had 3 at bats and made it on base once with getting on with a single and scored; Meia Hefley had 3 at bats and made it on base 2 times with being hit by the pitch both times - she scored both times; Danielle Bethal had 3 at bats with getting on each time with a hit by pitch, a single, and walk - she scored 1 time; Trinity Anderson had 3 at bats and made it on 2 times with a single and walk - she scored 1 time; Ellie Carstens had 3 at bats and made it on base with 2 walks and single; and Addy Lundquist also made it on base with her 2 at bats - one time with a walk and a single, she also scored 1 time. While on defense: Brooke Peterson had 2 strikeouts, 2 outs with throws to 1st base while on the mound, and an out with a throw to 2nd base; Danielle Bethal also had an unassisted out at 1st base; Addy Lundquist had an unassisted out at 2nd base with an infield fly; Devon Olson had an unassisted out at shortstop with an infield fly; and Trinity Anderson also had an assisted out with a pop fly in center field.`The Jags brought home their 3rd win of the season (2nd win against SCC) with a 12-1 win.
