On Tuesday, December 17th, the Southeast Valley Junior High Girls Basketball teams played host to the Titans from SCC. 7th grade got the night started with a 17-3 loss to the Titans. The Jags were led in scoring by Tana Harrison's 3 points.  In the nightcap, the 8th graders defeated the Titans by a final of 19-11. The Jags were led in scoring by Godie Davis and Farrah Teul. Bella Smith scored 5, while Jaylon Zika added 2 for the Jags win. Coach McCloud is quoted as saying, "Proud of the 8th graders for getting a must needed victory. 7th grade was flat tonight. We just didn't have our usual energy."

The Jags will take a short break for the holidays and then be in action next for a showdown with the Indians from Pocahontas Area on January 7th.
