JH Girls @ Greene County

On Thursday, November 21st, the Southeast Valley Junior High Girls basketball teams traveled to Jefferson to play the Greene County Rams. The 8th grade team got the night started right with a 22-8 win over the Rams. The 8th graders were led in scoring by Bella Smith's 12 points. Goldie Davis and Farrah Tuel each had 4 points, while Jaylon Zika chipped in 2 points for the Jaguars win.  

The 7th grade Jags played a hard fought game but came out on the short end with a 20-8 loss. The Jags were led in scoring by Tanna Harrison's 4 points, while Lauren Bintz and Kelsey Hayes each contributed 2 points to the Jag's effort. Coach Tim McCloud is quoted as saying, " I am proud of the effort that both teams played tonight. We know as coaches we have things to work on and build. Hopefully tonight was a good start to a great season. Good job Jags." The Jags will be in action with their home opener next Tuesday, November 26th, against the Madrid Tigers.
