On Tuesday, November 26th, the 7th and 8th grade girls basketball team played host to the Tigers from Madrid. The 7th grade got the night started with a tough 26-21 loss to the Tigers. Tana Harrison led the team in scoring with 8 points. Kaylee Hicks added 7. Aubree Richardson and Kelsey Hayes each contributed 4. The 7th graders showed major improvement on the young season.  

In the nightcap, the 8th grade Jags won a thriller by beating the Tigers 13-12. The Jags were led in scoring by Bella Smith's 4 points. Goldie Davis added 3, while Charlotte Blair and Bella Dorsey each chipped in with 2 points each.  Coach McCloud is quoted as saying, "Great win for the 8th graders. They beat a good team that is well coached. The 7th graders showed us when healthy they can stand toe to toe with anyone. Proud of both teams tonight."  

The Jags will next be on the court Monday, December 2nd as they host the Mustangs from Newell-Fonda.
