The SV Boys Golf team traveled the short trip up to Lakeside Municipal Golf Course, north of Fort Dodge, Tuesday, April 9th; for a 9 hole competition versus the

Gaels of Saint Edmond's.

The Varsity players for SV finished with a 172, and St. Edmond's with a 193. Will Comp and Hane Sorenson tied for low rounds on the night, both coming in with a score of 39 on the front nine. The freshmen duo of Karson Roper and Hayden Butrick posted matching scores with 47 a piece. Declan McGuire a 54 and Spencer Suchan a 57. On the JV level, Rafe Kilstrom and Drew Temple showed some confidence in their game, coming in with a 45 and a 49, respectively. The JV team shot a 202 as a team.

Coach Dahlstrom commented, “This was a great experience for us, being on these greens challenged our short game. I believe tonight helped our team feel more familiar with faster greens, and how to adjust. We will play this course again in May.”
