The Jaguars opened the golf season with a victory over West Bend 172-206. Will Comp earned medalist honors with a round of 40. Hane Sorenson earned runner up medalist honors with a steady 42. The freshmen duo of Karson Roper and Hayden Butrick

shot 45 each. Kaden Holder came in with a 56 and Spencer Suchan with a 57. The JV also won shooting a team total 202 to West Bend’s 269. Coach Dahlstrom commented “we played well for the first meet of the year, and the weather for the evening turned out to be a great night of golf. Spring weather so far has been difficult to get 9 hole scores complete. Next week is busy with four meets in six days, so we just need to keep after it and try to improve, especially the mental side of things.” The Jaguars travel to Emmetsburg next, Lakeside and St. Edmond’s on Tuesday, and then travel to Pocahontas and Jefferson
